A feature-length film immortalising Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne’s farewell Back to the Beginning concert will hit cinemas in 2026!
Production company Mercury Studios, who livestreamed the sold-out Villa Park concert on Saturday 5th July, are creating the film entitled Back to the Beginning: Ozzy’s Final Bow.
The 100-minute film will ‘aim to capture the raw power and emotional weight of Ozzy’s final bow in his hometown of Birmingham’, and it will focus on Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath’s music.
‘Presented as a love letter to Ozzy and the pioneering sound of Black Sabbath, the theatrical release will be a distilled version of the epic all-day event held at Villa Park,’ a synopsis reads.
‘Featuring thunderous performances of War Pigs, Iron Man, Children of the Grave, and a show-stopping Paranoid, the film promises a deeply personal and electrifying farewell from the godfather of heavy metal with exclusive behind-the-scenes access and interviews from this iconic live performance.’
Following the cinema screenings, Back to the Beginning: Ozzy’s Final Bow will get a physical product release later in 2026.
