Can’t believe this is coming out on Friday.
I am so excited to announce the first full-length movie about YUNGBLUD—a documentary recorded at the iconic Hansa Studios in Berlin by an absolute legend.
This is not just another music documentary. This is my soul on film. Raw. Real. Unfiltered. It’s everything I’ve been through, everything I’ve seen, everything I’ve felt over the last few years—captured in a way I never thought possible.
Why Now?
For a long time, people have asked me:
“When are you gonna tell your story properly?”
I always said, “When the time is right.”
That time is now.
There’s been so much noise around Yungblud. The tours, the chaos, the headlines, the mosh pits, the tears, the tattoos, the bloody love letters you lot send me after every show. But this film is about what happens when the lights go off. It’s about why Yungblud exists—and what it takes to keep going when the world tries to shut you down.
I wanted to take you to a place where some of the most important records in history were made. David Bowie. Iggy Pop. U2. Depeche Mode. They all stood where I stood. In Hansa Studios, Berlin. A place dripping in history. A place where walls don’t just listen—they scream back at you.
The Making of the Film
This film came together during a period when I honestly didn’t know if I’d make it out the other side. There’s been highs beyond my wildest dreams—and lows I wouldn’t wish on anyone. We filmed it all. The studio sessions. The sleepless nights. The moments I wanted to quit. The moments I felt like I was finally, truly alive.
It’s directed by a legend—someone I’ve admired for years. Someone who knew how to capture the honesty without making it feel like some polished, packaged story. This isn’t a PR piece. This is the truth, shot in grainy black and white, technicolour, sweat, tears, and laughter.
What To Expect
If you’re looking for a glossy, made-for-TV version of Yungblud—this ain’t it.
This is:
- The Berlin nights that turned into mornings.
- The writing sessions that broke me and rebuilt me.
- The stories behind the lyrics you scream back at me every night.
- The fears I never told anyone about until now.
- The love I have for you lot—my fans, my family—that keeps me going.
More Than Music
This film is about more than just Yungblud as an artist. It’s about belonging.
It’s about community.
It’s about the weird kids.
The ones who never felt like they fit in until they found each other in a sweaty room, arms around strangers, screaming their lungs out to a song that says,
“It’s okay to be exactly who you are.”
I made this film for the kid I used to be. The one sitting in his bedroom in Doncaster, feeling like the walls were closing in. The one who never thought he’d get out. The one who promised himself that if he ever did, he’d never forget where he came from.
Coming Friday
So here we are.
Friday.
The first full-length Yungblud documentary drops.
I can’t wait for you to see it.
It’s my love letter to you.
It’s my middle finger to anyone who ever told us to be quiet.
It’s proof that the weirdos, the freaks, the misfits—we don’t just survive,
we thrive.
Thank you for believing in me.
Thank you for letting me do this.
Thank you for being the heartbeat of everything Yungblud is.
See you Friday.
