The Dallas Cowboys are about to start adding draft picks to their 2024 roster. After a poor start to the offseason that included maintaining Mike McCarthy, losing Dan Quinn, acquiring Mike Zimmer, losing multiple free agent starters like Tyron Smith and Tony Pollard, and only adding Erick Kendricks as a starter, the organization still has work to do.
That process will begin with the 2024 NFL Draft, in which the Cowboys currently have seven picks. The Cowboys’ picks are listed here, assuming they do not trade up or down.
Rounds 1–3: choose 24, 56, and 87.
Round 5, choose 174.
Round 6, select 216.
Round 7: Pick 233 and 244.
Most commentators and fans agree that the offensive line is the most pressing necessity, with center and left tackle being particularly important. They may attack this location in the first round, as well as later. The Cowboys are also lacking running backs and linebackers. Cases can be made for other locations as well; we’ll just have to watch how things play out.
