According to sources close to the West Virginia basketball team, Mountaineer guard Noah Farrakhan will join the transfer portal after only one season at the school. This leaves Ofri Naveh as the only scholarship player from the 2023-24 season.
Farrakhan averaged 7.7 points and 3.0 rebounds per game in 23 outings for West Virginia last season, despite missing part of the year due to eligibility difficulties. He will have one year of college eligibility remaining.
Farrakhan joined WVU following a two-year stay at Eastern Michigan; he started his career at East Carolina. He was a three-star talent out of high school in Newark, New Jersey.
