On Friday, a former Green Bay Packers wide receiver joined the New Orleans Saints. The Saints had a busy morning of improving their offensive passing game. The Saints signed former Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kellen Mond earlier this morning.
The Saints expanded their quarterback roster to four and added a strong wide receiver.
The New Orleans Saints have signed a former Green Bay Packers receiver.
According to the team’s release, the Saints have signed former Packers wide receiver Equanimeous St. Brown:
“St. Brown, 6-5, 214, is a six-year NFL veteran who was selected by the Green Bay Packers in the sixth round (207th overall) of the 2018 NFL Draft from Notre Dame. During his six seasons with the Packers (2018-21) and Chicago Bears (2022-23),
St. Brown appeared in 60 regular-season games, including 28 starts, and has 63 receptions for 928 yards and two touchdowns. St. Brown has also run 11 times for 80 yards, made seven special teams tackles, and returned a kickoff for 17 yards. In three postseason games with one start for the Packers, he recorded two receptions for 37 yards, one carry for one yard, and three special teams stops.
St. Brown is a tough run blocker who should contribute as a role player for the Saints.
