Jordan Love was something of a mystery for the Green Bay Packers last year, as the team entered its first season without Aaron Rodgers. Now, the 25-year-old quarterback is focusing on the sport’s most prestigious awards.
Love was a breakout star of the 2023 season. Despite some difficult moments in his first season as the Packers’ full-time starter, he finished strong enough to have the entire fan base behind him.
Love led Green Bay to a spectacular playoff victory, defeating the Dallas Cowboys in the Wild Card round. But he wants more than just a postseason triumph in his second year as quarterback.

Love spoke on Friday’s episode of “The Pivot Podcast” to address a variety of issues, including his outlook for 2024.
Love showed complete trust in the Packers’ roster and organization. He feels the club is poised to challenge for the Lombardi Trophy as early as next season.
“We’re all very hungry for this upcoming year,” Love stated on The Pivot Podcast, according to NFL.com’s Bobby Kownack. “Confidence pervades the entire organization. The organization believes that now is the best moment to compete for a Super Bowl championship this year. The chats we had following the 49ers game were, “Man, work harder.” Try to identify methods to improve because we’ll do it next year.

Love noted that Green Bay’s offseason moves show that the team is totally dedicated to competing. The Packers signed star safety Xavier McKinney and replaced departing running back Aaron Jones with former All-Pro Josh Jacobs.

With Love and his young receivers like Romeo Doubs, Jayden Reed, and Christian Watson gaining another year of experience, the Packers’ offense might be deceptively deadly next season.
Love was already impressive during his first season of serious activity. He tossed 4,159 yards with 32 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. But, beyond the numbers, his elegance began to emerge later in the season.
The Packers finished the regular season 6-2, and Love looked completely locked in over the second part of the season. Throughout the season, he threw 18 touchdown passes and one interception. If Love’s second-half and playoff efforts were a harbinger of things to come, the Packers might very well be in Super Bowl discussions as early as next year.
