Green Bay Packers: Christian Watson’s Father Provides Major Update On Son’s Health
Watson’s father, who uses Twitter (X), provided a positive update on his son.
It appears Watson may have discovered the source of his hamstring problems.
Despite playing at a better level in 2022, Christian Watson has had a difficult start to the season. However, when he was at his best, the Packers offense thrived.
Watson concluded with unimpressive results after only nine games: 28 catches, 422 yards, and five touchdowns, all of which were lower than his totals in 2022. Despite this, Watson remained a competent player on the field. Watson was second on the team in receiving yards per game (46.9), after Jayden Reed (49.6) and ahead of Bo Melton, Romeo Doubs, Dontayvion Wicks, and Luke Musgrave.
Watson has indicated his goal to uncover the source of his hamstring injury following the season.
“If I can find out what kind of things can possibly be leading to it, make sure I’m doing the right things in the offseason, doing the right things during OTAs, into training camp, just find ways to make sure I’m doing everything I can to be conscious of it,” he said. “That’s my number one plan.”
Watson’s continued health would be extremely beneficial to the future of the Packers’ offense.
