David Sullivan sighted as West Ham United loses 6-0 to Arsenal at London Stadium.
Jim White has provided David Sullivan’s response at the London Stadium after West Ham were thrashed 6-0 by Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday, February 11.
The encounter was one of the Hammers’ worst performances of the season, with the chairman watching as David Moyes’ side went seven games without a win in all competitions.
The talkSPORT broadcaster also revealed photographs of fans during the doom and gloom, as pressure mounts on Moyes’ future.
On Sunday (11 February), White posted to X: “Tough day at the office, 0-6,” along with a photo of Sullivan in the stands.
Time to worry for David Sullivan
West Ham are currently in a make-or-break moment in the Premier League season. Despite a promising start in the first half of the season, pushing for a top-four berth, the Hammers are presently without a win in seven games.
West Ham have been knocked out of the FA Cup by Bristol City, drawn with Sheffield United and Bournemouth, and lost to Manchester United and Arsenal without scoring since their last victory, a 2-0 win over the Gunners in December.
Fans are getting increasingly dissatisfied with Moyes’ style of play, and the manager is losing favor at London Stadium, particularly after his team’s recent exploits. It is believed that Moyes has been offered a new contract, but following Sunday’s match, he may leave at the end of the season.
The Scot has faced scathing criticism in recent weeks. Every club experiences a hard patch, but it is more important how that patch is repaired in subsequent matches. So far, West Ham has shown no signs of progress.
The Hammers are now 10 points behind fifth-place Aston Villa and might drop to the bottom half of the table with forthcoming games against Nottingham Forest, Brentford, and Everton.
In other West Ham news, a week after Pablo Fornals’ departure, one of the club’s players gave him a two-word message.
