The English Football League has confirmed Leicester City’s amended squad following the January transfer window.
The Foxes had a disappointing winter transfer season, with a deal to sign Enzo Maresca’s main target, Stefano Sensi, falling through on deadline day. Chelsea recalled Cesare Casadei from his loan at the King Power Stadium, therefore they also lost him.
Casadei’s exit is one of two alterations to the Foxes’ 25-man roster announced at the start of the season, with Daniel Iversen also missing out after signing on loan with Championship club Stoke City. It means Maresca has only named a 23-man roster for the remainder of the season, reinforced by 30 Under-21 players as City seeks promotion back to the Premier League.
Summer signing from Everton Tom Cannon has not been named to City’s senior 25-man squad since he is classed as an Under-21 player.
