Auburn quarterback delivers great praise to talented youngster.
Auburn freshman earns high accolades from quarterback.
Auburn’s 2024 recruiting class is exceptionally talented, with several five- and four-star prospects.
Hugh Freeze, Auburn’s head coach, made recruiting a priority when he arrived on the Plains, and he followed through by assembling the number seven overall high school recruiting class, according to 247 Sports. Many of these young players will be on the field as true freshmen, indicating that Coach Freeze has a high level of trust in the athletes he has recruited.
Bryce Cain, an Auburn receiver, may be seen on the field early in his career. He is a 5’11” speedster ranked 191st in the 2024 class by 247Sports’ composite rankings. Cain has track speed and has already drawn attention during his little time on school. He is a player who will see the field as a true freshman and will catch a lot of passes over his Auburn career.
Auburn quarterback Hank Brown joined the Locked On Auburn Podcast to talk about the offseason. Zac Blackerby, the host, asked Brown what he had seen out of Cain so far. Brown said this about freshman wide receiver Bryce: “Yeah, you know, my favorite thing about Bryce is that he’s just a competitor. He turns up to work every day and is not afraid of anyone, to be honest. And I adore that about him; he will undoubtedly be special. I can’t say enough excellent things about him.
Cain may not be ranked as high as some of the other receivers in this class, such as Cam Coleman and Perry Thompson, but he is a fantastic talent who will produce explosive plays with his speed in Jordan-Hare Stadium for a long time.
